Carnewas Tearooms
Carnewas Tearooms overlooks the famous Bedruthan Steps with views onto parkhead. The café itself is steeped in history originally starting its life as an old mining stable. The tea gardens which used to be the horses paddock now provide an idyllic place for lunch or one of our famous cream teas.
The tearooms have been run by the same local family for 30 years. Norma Archer
started work at Carnewas in 1984 for the National Trust and now 30 years on
Norma's Sons Scott & Craig run the tearooms carrying on the tradition of
using fresh local produce, in their home cooked lunches, cakes and unforgettable
scones.
